Placement Cell
KMCET has been a consistent doing well for several years in the
list of campus placement records among private institutions in
Andhra Pradesh. It is proud that its graduates are highly rated by
employers from industry and commerce in the private and public
sectors. Offering information, advice, guidance and support for
job-seeking students is considered a primary responsibility at the
College.
The Placement and Training Centre is provided with a well-equipped
conference Hall and separate, well-furnished rooms for interviews
and counseling. It is headed by Principal who is supported by well
qualified, permanent Training & Placement staff.
Training and Placement Cell at KMCET plays a vital role in the
College. As there are large numbers of Engineering and Management
colleges in AP, the competition for employment is increasing every
day and placement of students has become a challenge.

In order to facilitate placement, employers are contacted during the
year and efforts are made to invite those companies to visit our
college and to conduct campus recruitment. The objective of the T&P
Cell is to look for a 100% employment of all the students.
The Training & Placement Cell provides all audio visual facilities
for PowerPoint Presentations, written test, group discussion and
interviews. It plays a very important and key role in counseling and
guiding the students of the College for their successful career
Placement which is a crucial interface between the stages of
completion of academic program of the students and their entry into
the suitable employment. This cell also coordinates various
activities related to the career of the students along with the
industrial training. In addition to campus placements the T & P
section organizes programs mock interviews, group discussions, case
studies, etc. It also organizes the program like:
- Interpersonal & communication skills
- Career planning" and "Career mapping
- Programs on "Technology and Management
KMCET is the regional hub that facilitates companies interested in
organizing pool drives. Following the slowdown, companies are now
also interested in pool campus recruitment drives besides visiting
individual colleges. This kind of pool campus drive is a relief
especially for students who did not top their batch but were part of
the middle level when it came to scores in exams.
OVERVIEW OF TRAINING & PLACEMENT CELL
The Training & placement Cell is committed to provide all possible
assistance to its students in their efforts to find employment. This
commitment is demonstrated by the existence of a full time professor
In charge. The benefits of this assistance are reflected in the
preparation of students who were able to secure lucrative and
esteemed positions in recent years. The Training & Placement service
operates year round to facilitate contacts between companies and
graduates. Staffs are available to respond to student's question and
concern of all kinds. The aim is to ensure that students have the
information and skills necessary for an effective job search.
PLACEMENT FACILITIES
- Separate cell with one full time staff In-charge for Placement in
order to guide students to approach companies.
- Conduct a survey on recruiters' expectations from students.
- Obtain feedback from employers of past batches.
- Enable networking with alumni.
- Organize training sessions on Soft Skills development.
FINAL PLACEMENT
Campus recruitment drives are undertaken by inviting companies from
the private, public and government sectors to place Institute's
students at entry level positions. Placement assistance is provided
industry/sector/Vertical-wise as well as by functional area wise.
